I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in London. Its location is excellent, close to many must-see attractions and just a short walk from St Pancras International, which makes it very convenient. The rooms aren’t the most modern, but they’re spacious and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. A practical and comfortable choice overall. Super good value for money
I chose this hotel to bring my mother as a Christmas gift. I chose it because it has character and it's position was a good base to see the sights. We had a lovey stay. We were looked after so well. The room was small but very cosy. It had all we needed for our stay. Beds were so comfortable too. The food we had was lovely and the service was 100% friendly and professional. The barmen Eash and Raj made my mothers stay very memorable with their big smiles and kind words. She said she will always think of them when thinking about London and the Tavistock hotel. All in all a really good couple of days. Thank you.
Stayed for one night on a work trip and had a great stay. I was upgraded to a king bed, which was the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a long time! Staff were really friendly and helpful. I got room service from the Indian restaurant in the hotel (Poppadom) and it was absolutely gorgeous. Came quick and the portion was big. I’d recommend the red ruby butter chicken! Really comforting food after a long day of work and travel. The room was noisy with traffic outside at night but I put that down to being in the centre of London. The room could have also used a lamp, the lights were fairly bright otherwise (the comfy bed did make up for it. Ive already booked to stay again next month Great location from London Euston. Also happy I was able to get some fresh air and have a walk through the nearby little parks.
We stayed at the hotel for five nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, with several tube and bus stations nearby. The British Museum, various train stations, and many other attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are very decent for the price in London. They are spacious enough and, most importantly, clean. However, I would recommend avoiding rooms at the end of the corridor near the bowling, as it can get quite noisy there until late at night. That’s simply a downside of such a central location. Breakfast was good and plentiful. What really stood out for us was the bar and the attached pub. We spent several lovely evenings there as a family and always felt very welcome. Nency, Raj, and Rijju were all incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job. Thank you!
Clean room, very good matrass and pillows. Good shower. Good variety of breakfast. Very politie staff. Perfect location; near st pancras station and other public transport. In very nice area. Question: what brand are your pillows? They were excellent!
I stayed at the Tavistock Hotel from the 12-16th of February. I really enjoyed my stay here! I was upgraded to a bigger room without my knowledge which I really appreciated! I’ve a few opinions and would like to give my views on the mixed reviews of this hotel. I was a bit worried as I didn’t really know what to expect from the hugely differing opinions, but everything went well. Noise - A few reviews talked about it being quite loud as there was no soundproofing, this I can agree with, however it wasn’t enough to really disturb me. I am a light sleeper and did wake up once from the sound of the karaoke bar but could fall asleep easily again. The sounds from the machine outside was a bit much but nothing to disturb my peace. Warm rooms - When I first came into my room I noticed how hot it was, but after leaving the fan on it was not bothering me at all. After the first day, it switched and become very cold, but even this was fine as I just turned the heat up on the radiator. Those are probably my only negative takeaways from my stay. Everything else was perfect, the location is excellent with many great stations just a 5-10 minute walk away. And never once did i feel unsafe in the area. I will definitely be staying here again, it’s all so worth it, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay.
I stayed at the Tavistock Hotel for a few nights and had a pleasant experience overall. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were polite and helpful when I had a question about transport links. The room was simple but clean, with a comfortable bed and a decent amount of space for central London. Breakfast was busy but well organised, with plenty of options. it’s good value and very convenient for getting around the city.
Really liked this hotel. Clean comfortable terrific breakfast and poppadum restaurant fantastic! Breakfast excellent too. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Special shout out to our server in poppadum Nancy! First class service
